Paul DodwellI come from a knitting family, but my interest was really sparked in 2005 whilst at university in St. Andrews. I am mostly self taught and my interests have ranged from fair isle to miniature knitting, always favouring more complex patterns, especially those that tell a story. This led naturally to ganseys with their rich history and varied patterns. As a regular member of both the university and Di Gilpin's knit club I was invited to run a sock knitting workshop demonstrating a variety of different methods. I have been employed by Hillary Rohde to produce a number of garments and also produced samples for an up and coming design student named Domingo Rodriguez. |
