Toolkit for schools

This is a pack of information and activities about the Moray Firth and its bottlenose dolphins.

It also highlights the hazards that human activities pose to the dolphins’ future, and what people can do to minimise those risks.

Teachers can use the pack to help children:

  • learn more about the Moray Firth and its unique population of dolphins;
  • find out what people need to do to safeguard the future for the Moray Firth dolphins; and
  • plan and present talks to let others know about safeguarding the dolphins.

(Note to teachers: The toolkit has notes for teachers and supports the 5-14 national guidelines, with particular reference to English language and to Environmental Studies-Science.)
