Community Grants Scheme 2009

Scottish Natural Heritage logoNine community groups and schools from around the Moray Firth were awarded grants of £1,000 each for their coastal projects under the 2009 scheme.

The Grants scheme aims to help community groups and schools to undertake activities in their local area that benefit the coast and sea of the Moray Firth (from John O’ Groats in Caithness to Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire). This year projects were required to demonstrate a clear link to the natural heritage of the Firth.

We are extremely grateful to Scottish Natural Heritage for funding the 2009 grant scheme which helped to bolster the work of the very dedicated community groups around the Moray Firth.
