Community Grants Scheme 2009

The Moray Firth Partnership 2009 Community Grant Scheme is now open for applications. Thanks to funding of £10,000 from Scottish Natural Heritage, the MFP grants scheme willl help coastal projects for the ninth successive year.

This year we want to encourage work that will help address some of the strategic priority issues for the Moray Firth, including Marine Biodiversity, Sustainable Coastal Development, Marine Tourism and Climate Change. Projects that focus on the Moray Firth's rich fishing heritage, or caostal and marine litter, especially plastic bag eradication measures, are particularly welcome. However, all projects that demonstrate a clear link to the sea or coast of the Moray Firth will be considered.

Follow the links to download an application form and guidance notes. Alternatively, send us an email or phone the office and we'll send a pack out to you.

We are extremely grateful to Scottish Natural Heritage for their continued support of this grant scheme which will help bolster the work of the very dedicated community groups around the Moray Firth.

The closing date for applications to the 2009 MFP Community Grants Scheme is midday Monday 19 January. If you would like to discuss a particular project or would like further information, please contact the MFP office.
