Workshops

We hold workshops (generally on the second Saturday of the month but occasionally over the whole weekend) in Dingwall, Ross-shire, from September to June. These workshops are a great opportunity to meet up with likeminded people and learn a diverse range of skills from spinning different types of fibres, through various types of weaving to basketmaking, felt making, the use of natural and synthetic dyes and many others. In the summer months small groups of members demonstrate their skills at some of the agricultural shows and craft fairs and throughout the year members often meet together informally to relax with their crafts and learn from each other. Every few years we hold an Exhibition (our most recent being in the Inverness Museum during October/November 2005) to display our diverse work.

For information on the current programme of workshops go to the Autumn workshops page, or download the programme

If you want to come along and meet people, but don't want to attend a workshop, come along to the Share and Blether Group which meets on some workshop days.
