Inverness Car Free Day

Highland Council has organised a Car Free Day which will be held in Inverness on Wednesday 19th September.  Please click here to read the Council's news release. For more information on the car free event please click here to be re-directed to the Green Inverness website.

A new commuter free bikes facility in Inverness will be launched on the 12th September. This project offers free bicycles to commuters coming into Inverness by bus or train, allowing them to complete their journey to work by bike. The project will be based in the Rose Street multi-storey car park, and will also be available to those whose car is essential but would like to "Park and Pedal" as their contribution to keeping the city centre free of congestion. Queries regarding this free bikes project should be directed to Jim McCreath (Inverness and Nairn Transport Forum) on 07765212608 or
