Turbine World Exclusive in the Cromarty Firth

It was truely an incredible site to behold yesterday (Sunday 18th August), as the first off-shore windfarm tower and blade generator was lifted from the Nigg yard by the crane barge 'Rambiz'  and sailed out of the Cromarty Firth to the Beatrice oil field.  This is the largest structure of it's kind in the world and attracted a large crowd of interested observers at Cromarty and the Sutors.
