MFP Community Grants Scheme

MFP Community Grants Scheme - 2006

The Moray Firth Partnership Community Grants Scheme for 2006 has awarded a total of £10,000 to 13 coastal community groups around the Firth.  Projects include workshops, harbour safety improvements, historical renovation projects and assistance towards the purchasing of a rescue boat for the Firth.

Now in its sixth year, the grant scheme is aimed at local, not for profit groups such as community associations, youth groups, heritage and interest groups. Projects must relate to the management, interpretation, enjoyment or improvement of the Moray Firth and its natural environment, be of clear benefit to the local area and contribute to the local quality of life.

The projects that received funding under the 2005 Scheme have now been completed.  Watch the news items for reports and photos!
